USDA Deputy Secretary Steve Censky to Speak at
Minnesota AgriGrowth Annual Meeting & Conference

Leading Minnesota agribusiness and food production association to feature native Minnesotan and USDA Deputy Secretary Censky

St. Paul, MN – Minnesota AgriGrowth Council (AgriGrowth) is holding its Annual Meeting and Conference Thursday, November 9th, and is announcing today that USDA Deputy Secretary Steve Censky will be the keynote luncheon speaker at the conference. “AgriGrowth is pleased to announce the addition of Deputy Secretary Censky, a Minnesota native, to an already impressive list of speakers and panelists,” said Perry Aasness, Executive Director of Minnesota AgriGrowth.

Censky was confirmed as USDA Deputy Secretary on October 3rd, 2017, after serving as CEO of the American Soybean Association since 1996.  Censky also previously served in the administrations of Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, including time as administrator of USDA’s Foreign Agriculture Service.
